Jesus Calling

"I AM ABLE to do far beyond all that you ask or imagine. Come to ME with positive expectations, knowing that there is no limit to what I can accomplish. Ask My Spirit to control your mind, so that you can think great thoughts of Me. Do not be discouraged by the fact that many of your prayers are yet unanswered. Time is a trainer, teaching you to wait upon Me, to trust Me in the dark. The more extreme your circumstances, the more likely you are to see My Power and Glory at work in the situation. Instead of letting difficulties draw you into worrying, try to view them as setting the scene for My glorious intervention. Keep your eyes and your mind wide open to all that i am doing in your life." -Jesus Calling January 6.

Be Strong.

Be strong in the Lord and,
Never give up hope,
You're going to do great things, (i like this part!)
I already know,
God's got His hand on you so,
Don't live life in fear,
Forgive and forget,
But don't forget why you're here,
Take your time and pray,

Seize the day.

Victory in Jesus

“Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins.” Malachi 1:4

this verse has been running through my head all day.

i'm not sure i understand.

i'm still processing.

a lot has been crushed.

okay i can do this.

Pick up those pieces and REBUILD!

start fresh. make what is wrong, right again.

For tho we are crushed we can not be defeated in Christ, for he has already won the victory.

Umble Family Weekend!

From sleeping in the Penthouse. (or those in the ghettos of tent city..)

to swimming in the rain

to fun and fellowship around the campfire...

i'd have to say the Umble Family Weekend was a complete success (despite the rain that poured for most of the day on Saturday.) I am truly blessed to have an amazing family with such rich history. I will forever be grateful to my grandparents (Leory & Fern Umble) for raising up beautiful child (my father and aunts and uncles).
